  • ½ teaspoon culinary grade lavender
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • ½ cup milk of choice I used oat milk
  • 1 teaspoon local honey or more to taste

  • Place lavender in either the bottom of a mug or in a tea infuser basket. Pour hot water over lavender and steep for 5-7 minutes.
  • While tea steeps, heat milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until it comes to a very gently simmer. To make a latte rather than milk tea, use a frother to make the milk nice and foamy (see post for tips).
  • Once tea has steeped, strain lavender (or remove tea infuser basket) and stir in honey. Pour steamed or frothed oat milk on top and enjoy.
