  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup medjool dates pits removed (about 10-12 dates)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger or more to taste (I use close to 1 tablespoon)
  • ¼ teaspoon orange extract or more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • teaspoon salt
  • THC-Free CBD Oil optional

  • If dates are a bit dry, first soak them in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes.
  • Place cashews in a food processor and pulse until they form a sand-like texture.
  • Next, add dates, chia seeds, ginger, salt, orange extract, vanilla extract, and CBD oil (if using).
  • Pulse until the mixture is well-combined and sticky. If the mixture isn’t coming together, add 1 teaspoon of water at a time. You may need to scrape down the sides of the food processor with a rubber spatula between pulses.
  • Once the mixture is ready, roll into 16 balls and place them on a baking sheet or Tupperware container. Freeze for 15 minutes, or until slightly firm. Option to store bliss balls in the freezer for up to 4 months or the fridge for about 2 weeks.

For CBD dosing, see notes in post.
